Our Team - Social Workers and Therapists
Social workers and therapists provide one-on-one counselling to help people work through different types of mental health challenges. Counselling is a way to help people learn more about their emotions, thoughts and behaviours, and gain skills to use on their own to help improve their mental health and get through life’s challenges.
Our social workers and therapist meet with people to talk about, and support them through, feelings of depression and anxiety, grief and loss, and assist them through difficult stages of life. We offer counselling sessions for individuals and families as well as group programming. Group sessions can focus on topics like cognitive behavioural therapy and dialectical behavioural therapy which help teach mindfulness techniques and skills to manage staying mentally healthy.
